LEADERSHIP STYLE
In public sectors, to meet the demand of customers and to develop solutions that suffice in new challenges, innovation plays an important role. Innovation provides a strategic approach to the employees to deploy creativeness in the organization. To achieve this, leadership plays a key role. Leadership is important in the development of an organization by establishing a clear vision for the employees. It helps in influencing the creativity and innovation of the organization as well as the employees. A leader's characteristic behaviors in leading, encouraging, guiding, and managing groups of people are referred to as their leadership style. Their leadership styles can inspire others to create, innovate, and achieve.

ABOUT DATA
Australian Public Services Survey

We explore the leadership styles that are significant for innovation in public organizations. For our analysis, the leadership styles are explored by using the Australian Public Service (APS) employee census. The APS employee census is an annual survey of employees' satisfaction with their employment that will be used to inform future planning, reform, and other efforts. The purpose of the survey was to find out how APS employees feel about leadership, health, and wellness, learning and development, as well as how all these aspects affect their satisfaction.
For our analysis, we are comparing findings from 2014 and 2019 using two APS datasets.

As both the datasets comprise of the questions asked to employees about their satisfaction level, all the variables in the datasets are categorical (ordinal).

However, most of the variables/questions have 5 levels of responses:
